Form of Gravity

This installation project is inspired by experiments with heating up and bending plastic. Through heating and cooling, a moment within the transformation process was frozen. The fluidity and stiffness of plastic were shown at the same time, as it appears to have the softness of cloth yet is structurally stable from folding.

The project started from bending plastic into specific form with molds, and later moved on to allowing the material guide itself under gravity. The result resembles an imaginary landscape. Held up at eye level, the piece seeks to enhance interaction.
